Sweet & Sour Green Beans
Dress up your green beans!
1 ½ pounds fresh snap beans
½ cup dark brown sugar
1 10 ½ -ounce can condensed tomato soup
½ pound bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Preheat oven to 350°F. Wash, trim and slice the beans. You should have about 6 cups.
Steam them in a small amount of water until just barely crisp-tender. Combine with the
remaining ingredients and bake in a buttered casserole dish for 1 hour at 350°F.
Serves 6-8.
